A Salute to Our Heroes- Firefighter Fizz

On the final day of our salute to the public servants that risk their lives daily to protect ours, I would like to propose a toast.

"May God bless and keep all of the men and women who, without hesitation, put the lives of perfect strangers in front of their own without ever asking anything in return. Their selflessness and service to their communities is a precious gift to each and everyone of us allowing us to live our lifes more safely, healthy and whole. Thank you from the depths of my heart for the sacrifice you make each and everyday. You are appreciated!"

That being said I felt it only appropriate to follow with a festive cocktail called a Firefighter Fizz. CHEERS!

Ingredients:
1.5 oz Malibu Rum
1.5 oz Vodka
1.5 oz Mango puree or juice
2 oz Cranberry Juice
2 oz Club Soda
ice

Directions
Fill highball glass with ice. In a cocktail shaker add Vodka, Malibu and Mango.Shake well and pour over ice. Fill the glass till it is half full with the club soda. Fill to top with Cranberry Juice.

CHOW!

Thanks, Kelly! I think if I made it again I may replace the soda water with a dry champagne. I love the sweetness of the mango with the sparkle.
